ABOUT KRISHNALAYA
CMW offers its two-week Dharma Sevak Course once every summer at Krishnalaya, or "the abode of Krishna," CMW's Retreat Center situated on the banks of the Eel River, nestled in the coastal mountains and giant Redwoods of Northern California. The gurgling waters, serene environment, and breathtaking views make Krishnalaya an ideal place for spiritual retreats.
The ashram houses a beautiful 200-person lecture hall with air conditioning and state-of-the-art multimedia equipment. The ashram can lodge 80 people
comfortably (30 of the rooms have balconies facing the river). Facilities include a commercial kitchen, dining hall (indoor and outdoor seating), satsang hall, and temple shrine.
Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda conducted his world renowned marathon camp on Shrimad Bhagavad Gita in the year 1991. The video (DVDs and tapes) of these talks is available through Chinmaya Publications: publications@chinmayamission.org.
