“Take the Big Step”
This camp is themed on teachings from Taittiriya Upanishad, one of the few Upanishads taught to all students in Vedic times before graduating from the Gurukula.
It is a complete work on one’s physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual development. In seven days of spiritual discourses, Swamiji will teach us this timeless knowledge to help us Take the Big Steps that we need to build lives of achievement, value, and purpose.
Schedule
A typical day starts with guided meditation/Vedic chanting at 6 a.m. The day includes Swamiji's three Upanishad discourses, workshop activities, discussion groups, recreation, entertainment, and cultural programs. The days are full, but there is time for reflection and rest. In addition, campers have time to informally hang out with Swamiji and the other acharyas.

Transportation
The closest international airport is Bangalore. For domestic travel in India, you can use www.cleartrip.com (low-fare airlines include Jet Lite and Air Deccan), where you can compare fares and timings, and book online).
Book your flight so that you arrive Coimbatore in the morning or early afternoon of 24 December. Book your return flight for the afternoon or evening of 1 January. The camp will formally commence at 5:30 p.m. on 24 December (arrive Coimbatore Airport by 2 p.m. latest).
From Coimbatore Airport, catch a taxi to Chinmaya International Residential School (Nallurvayal Post, Siruvani Main Road, Coimbatore). The school is well known by the local taxi drivers and is a 45- to 60-minute drive from the airport.
